Vein Therapies

Kass Clinic offers a wide range of non-surgical varicose and spider vein treatments.

Sclerotherapy

Considered the “Gold Standard,” a solution is injected causing the vein to be absorbed by the body naturally. No anesthetic is required and patients resume their normal activities immediately.

Foam Sclerotherapy

This new treatment utilizes a special preparation of sclerosant to treat veins more effectively requiring fewer treatment sessions. If indicated, it may also be used on larger veins that previously required surgery.

Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy

Using advanced ultrasound imaging, Dr. Kass uses a “venous map” to selectively treat veins below the surface that were once only treatable by surgery.

Laser Therapy

Laser is utilized to coagulate the veins causing them to dissolve. While not effective on legs, laser is very useful for the treatment of facial spider veins.

Ambulatory Phlebectomy

An office-based minor surgical procedure to remove large varicose veins through pinhole punctures under local anesthesia. It does not usually require sutures, thereby minimizing any scarring, and patients resume normal activities immediately.

Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLT™)

Utilizing laser technology, this procedure seals large veins and provides a better alternative to vein stripping which requires surgery, anesthesia, considerable pain and extended recovery. Performed in-office with a local anesthetic. Dr. Kass is one of the first physicians to offer this technology.

VNUS Closure™

Utilizing radio frequency technology, this procedure seals large veins and provides a better alternative to vein stripping which requires surgery, anesthesia, considerable pain and extended recovery. Performed in-office with a local anesthetic.  Dr. Kass is one of the first physicians to offer this technology.

Compression Therapy

We utilize graduated medical compression stockings to increase the blood flow reducing swelling, pain and fatigue. These stockings are by prescription only and must be carefully measured to your leg to provide the correct compression. We stock a variety of styles and colors, and our staff is certified to fit you.
